I’m Noa Katz, a cartoonist and visual storyteller from Tel Aviv, Israel. I graduated from the Visual Communication Studies program at Bezalel Academy of Arts in 2016, and since then, I’ve published five graphic novels in Israel. My work touches on a range of themes, including LGBTQ+ issues, autobiographical stories, and social topics like sexual education. I also write about nature, science, and humor, especially in two books about birds, where I combine my love for nature with storytelling. My upcoming book is a personal look at my father’s experience with dementia, which I approach with a lot of care and sensitivity. Right now, I’m working on my Master’s degree in Visual Communication at Bezalel, where I’m pushing myself to try new ways of telling stories and experimenting with different forms and techniques to make my work even more impactful.
